The
Billy Bishop Legion they say that is haunted by the
spirit of an artist. That artist started a painting
that hangs in the Hall, the painting was never finished
due to the artists death. They seem to think that he
hangs around the hall because he never finish the work
and can't leave until it is finished.

Says
just about every neighbourhood has an old, spooky house
that the local kids steer clear of on Halloween night.
But for some places in Canada, the creep factor is off
the charts and otherworldly presences are a year-round
occurance. Ghostly voices, strange visions and objects
that move on their own are just some of the symptoms
afflicting our countrys most ghost-friendly haunts.
If youre looking for an authentic encounter with
the supernatural this All-Hallows, weve got you
covered. Travel advisory: Dont go alone.
Billy
Bishop Legion Hall (Vancouver, B.C.)
Considered one of the most haunted places in the world
by the editors of Ghostvillage.com,
Royal Canadian Legion Branch #176 is allegedly haunted
by the ghost of a painter and former legionnaire, Ted
Hoskinson. His unfinished portrait of the Kings
Troop Royal Horse Artillery still hangs in the lounges
northeast corner.
Some
people have said:
He
came out and he was in a little bit of shock. I asked
what was wrong and he said when I walked in there,
out of the corner of my eye I saw a little lady,
she said. When he turned his head to look at her
she disappeared.
In
a separate incident, a visitor returned to the museum
to ask if there had been a little girl in a costume
there earlier.
He
explained that he was in the museum part and he looked
and she was standing there near a mannequin thats
in a maids costume, and looked up at him and smiled
at him, Smith said.
The
man didnt think about it at the time, but asked
his wife if she liked the little girl in the dress.
His wifes reply was what girl, Smith
said, so the man came back and asked staff about it.
They checked and found none of them had a girl at the
museum that day.
