Billy Book Launch “”The Storyteller’s War: Geoffrey Chaucer, Reluctant Spy” by J C Corry

Any fans of historical fiction out there? This one’s for you! Branch members, guests and neighbours are invite to the Book Launch of The Storyteller’s War by JC Corry on Thursday May 8th. Set in 1366 The Storyteller’s War tells the story of a young Geoffrey Chaucer (c. 1343 to 1400) who finds himself thrust into the heart of a boiling conflict between two brothers: King Pedro the Cruel of Castille and his half-brother, Enrique Trastámara. Authour JC Corry will present a 45 minute welcome and slide show presentation, followed by a reading and book signing. The Book Launch starts at 6:30 PM in the Upper Hall, and will include a book signing. This is a free event, but you must be 18+ to attend.
