COVID-19 MEMO

Dear  Guests and Visitors to Branch #176

While the risk of COVID-19 infection to Canadians is still deemed to be low, in a high abundance of caution, Branch #176 initiated a number of hygiene policies over and above our normal strict procedures.

Both our Bar Staff and Janitorial staff are now following very strict and defined sanitation and operational procedures to protect you and themselves during this emergency. You will notice some different procedures and posted information to assist in this procedure. A large part of this is also our enhanced arrangement with Citron in all aspects of sanitation with regular service and new products for personal hygiene to ensure we provide all of our members guests and staff with the best protection we can provide.

However we would request help from all by asking all personnel who plan to attend the branch to follow all current personal public health guidelines and current Legion guidelines. These include as follows:
– We are asking members (guests and visitors) who are sick, have travelled outside the Province in the last 14 days or have had contact with someone who has the virus to self- isolate and not attend the branch.
-While in the Branch follow the recommended procedures of washing your hands regularly and covering your mouth when coughing and sneezing.

All normal scheduled Branch functions and operations are functioning as planned although some special events may be postponed with prior notice.

As we move forward we may have to make other amendments at short notice which we will provide prior information. We encourage any feedback or suggestions.
