Legion Week is an annual, week-long event held in September by The Royal Canadian Legion to highlight the organization’s contributions, support Veterans, and welcome new members to their communities. The week aims to educate the public on the work of Legion branches, engage communities with family-friendly events and open houses, and recruit volunteers and members to support the Legion’s mission of serving Veterans and the community. It begins on the third Sunday of September, honoring Battle of Britain Day, and concludes the following Saturday.
To support the Objectives of Legion Week, The Billy Bishop/Kerrisdale Legion will conduct an Open House on Sunday September 21st between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. All are welcome!!
